Michael Goldsholl

SVP of Business & Legal Affairs

Michael Goldsholl is the WNBPA’s Senior Vice President for Business & Legal Affairs, having worked for the Union since joining as a legal intern in 2015. Representing the Players, Michael helped negotiate the groundbreaking 2020 WNBA-WNBPA CBA, which increased the salary cap by 30%, nearly doubled maximum salaries, reduced free agency restrictions, and provided new and increased benefits for player parents. In 2021, Michael was named to The Athletic’s 40 Under 40: Rising Stars in Women's Basketball. Michael earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School (2017) and his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University (2013). Originally from Santa Barbara, CA, Michael has called NYC “home” for the past decade.  Michael loves to explore NYC (and the world) through food and enjoys hosting family and friends for meals.
